The Wayward Bus regularly filled San Francisco's smaller clubs, including the Hotel Utah, Paradise Lounge and Bottom of the Hill in the early 1990s. Contemporaries of better-known local acts such as American Music Club and Counting Crows, they wrote, recorded and performed for three years before succumbing to the pressures that routinely break up promising young bands.
